NEET PG 2025 New Exam Date: NEET-PG To Be Held In Single Shift

NEET PG 2025 Exam Date: The Supreme Court granted the NBE (National Board of Examination) an extension to conduct the NEET PG 2025 on 3 August, 2025, which was scheduled for 15 June, 2025. Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Augustine George Masih made clear that there will be no further extension will be allowed after this.

On Monday, the NBEMS announced the NEET-PG 2025 exam postponement, and the Supreme Court directed to conduct of the exam in a single shift with transparency, safety, and security.

The National Board mentioned that the postponement was aimed at expanding the number of test centres and upgrading the required infrastructure to meet the court’s standards for fairness and security, and announced the NEET PG 2025 Exam Date for the last time.

NBEMS Recommends 

As ordered by the court, NBEMS has put forth on date for the NEET PG 2025 examination. It is the intention to complete the NEET PG examination for every student in India in a one-shift examination.

The challenge in this endeavor is that NBEMS would then be managing over 1000 examination centers in over 250 cities, with over 60,000 personnel (security and invigilators) to supervise the exams.

NBEMS has described allocating time to plan an examination of this scale, where the examination is done securely, equitably, and to reasonably expect reliable delivery of the examination questions, would take a considerable amount of time and planning.

The suggested date is still the subject of a discussion with the Supreme Court on this date. Students should continue to monitor the NBEMS website for further updates.
