Admission Info

Dhaka National Medical College calls the applications for admission into the 1st-year MBBS course. Admission shall be on the basis of Merit and shall follow the same criteria as announced by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. The aim of the college is to provide an extensive education focusing on professional developments for the student to accoutre them with knowledge.

Dhaka National Medical College is one of the topmost medical colleges in Bangladesh. Till now, 1502 graduate doctors have been passed out from the Dhaka National Medical College. If you are planning to take a medical license in the USA, you are open to that also.

DNMC features a well-equipped library and labs.

DNMC offers a well-equipped library with seats for over 100 people. The library contains nearly 6000 publications, books, magazines, and research papers, making it a sanctuary for all of DNMC's deserving students.

The DNMC campus has undergone extensive renovations in recent years, and it now boasts a well-equipped, air-conditioned campus with cutting-edge labs and welcoming classrooms, creating a nurturing environment.

Internship

Students at all MCI-accredited medical colleges in Bangladesh, including DNMC, have the choice of doing their internship at either their college in Bangladesh or their hometown. However, because of the large number of patients at Bangladeshi colleges and the high level of exposure, the majority of students chose to perform their internship in Bangladesh.

In comparison to India, Bangladesh has a cheaper cost of living. The college has its own college where you can stay safe. In Bangladesh, monthly living costs are approximately 8-12 thousand rupees per month, or around 1 lakh 20 thousand INR per year.

Process

Step 1: We fill out the application form on your behalf to get you the offer letter.

Step 2: we send the student application to the university for an offer letter.

Step 3:  the university will send a conditional offer letter after the acceptance of your application. 

Step 4: The candidates first should pay the initial tuition fee, after receiving a conditional offer letter. Then the students will receive a Fee Acknowledgement letter from the university.

Step 5: Candidates should then fulfill the required procedures for granting student visas.

2. High School Mark sheets (10th and 12th, xerox and original)
3. NEET Scorecard
4. Color photograph.

Teaching

The medium of teaching at Dhaka National Medical College is English.  

Eligibility

Foreign students seeking admission to the first year of the MBBS program must have a score of more than 70% / CGPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations (O and A level). Biology must be taken in HSC (class XII / A level) by the student. Students who have taken a one-year gap from school are not eligible to apply.
