About

This college is an initiative of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), and it is governed by a Governing Body comprised of representatives from the sponsoring organization, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), Dhaka University, and the Bangladesh government.

This college also adheres to the MBBS course curriculum established by Dhaka University and the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.

In the previous 17 years, the institution has established a strong reputation among non-government medical universities around the country. For optimal lecture delivery, the institution has sufficient competent teaching professionals as well as modern teaching resources such as computers, multimedia projectors, and digital sound systems. It also offers a full-fledged library with ample text, reference books, and publications, as well as high-speed internet access.

The institute's mission is to transform this college into a world-class center for medical education, training, and service.

The College also maintains an international quality through the production of a scientific journal, the Journal of Medical Science and Research, which is fully accredited by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
