Attached Teaching Hospital

NGMC operates two hospitals, one at Kohalur (approx 600 beds, depending on source) and the other at Nepalgunj town (approx 600 beds), instead of relying on an outside tie-up.

Patient Flow & Clinical Exposure

These hospitals receive a consistent and diverse patient population from Banke district and the surrounding mid-western region, resulting in good exposure to patients across the specialties and medicine/surgery departments.

Internship Opportunities

The internship is finished at the same hospitals, but in various departments. NGMC has also provided specialist services to other regional hospitals (e.g. Jajarkot) sometimes providing senior students with additional exposure outside the campus.
