About This Course
The Prelicensure Nursing BS program at the Joe C. Wen School of Nursing is a traditional four-year program that prepares students for professional nursing practice. The curriculum integrates the social and natural sciences with clinical leadership and critical thinking. As a UCLA-certified capstone major, students complete a clinically-based scholarly project in their final year. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) to become a Registered Nurse (RN).
