Course Duration
4.5 years of academic study plus a mandatory 1-year Compulsory Community-Oriented Residential Rotatory Internship — 5.5 years total, matching NMC's FMGL requirement of 54 months academics plus a 12-month internship at the same institution.
Medium of Instruction
The entire MBBS curriculum, including exams, is taught in English — a strict NMC requirement for the degree to remain valid for Indian licensing.
Academic Structure
Pre-clinical — Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, with early community-medicine exposure.
Para-clinical — Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine.
Clinical — Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and other specialty rotations.
Internship Program
The 1-year rotatory internship must be completed at BPKIHS and its affiliated teaching hospitals under current NMC rules, it can no longer be split between the foreign university and an Indian hospital.
